Always invigorating is the daily bustle of trainers, workers and all things thoroughbred, every morning, sprawling across Keeneland. It bigger — much much bigger — than most visitors know. I was there to shoot a subject for Business Lexington’s upcoming Leading Ladies of the Bluegrass series (my second year to be asked to do so). Getting to see — to be — behind the scenes is such a delight, but it comes at a price, usually: making at least one civilian gaffe in the highy ideosyncratic world of horse training/racing. See those tire tracks? They’re all mine. On a thoroughfare intended exclusively for thoroughbreds. Doh.
